Gbagi, Edijana, Ekure, Pela accepts invite
Five governorship candidates from Delta state have indicated their readiness to attend the Town Hall meeting organized by Erhuvwu r’ Urhobo in partnership with Quest TV ahead of March 11, 2023 at Quest TV/FM Broadcasting House in Ogor, Ughelli North Local Government Area of Delta state.
Among those that have indicated interest according to the Dr. Joel Edjutememuh are, the candidates of the Social Democratic Party, SDP, Olorogun Kenneth Gbagi, Peoples Redemption Party, PRP, Mr. Emmanuel Edijana, Mr. Efe Ekure of the African Democratic Congress, ADC, and Ken Pela of the Labour Party, LP.
The town hall meeting will also bring together all senatorial candidates from the Delta Central Senatorial District, to interact with the electorates and why they should be voted to represent them at the national Assembly on
Saturday, February 11, 2023.
It would be recalled that the Delta Governorship Candidate of the All Progressives Congress, APC, Sen. Ovie Omo-Agege had earlier in one of his campaigns call for a debate among other governorship candidates.
According to the convener, Dr. Joel Edjutememuh, “The Delta State gubernatorial town hall meeting is an interactive session where all the candidates would market themselves through their manifestos.
“To present their strategic visions and programmes for development of the state and this will further guide the electorates in making their choices during the elections.
Dr.Edjutememuh revealed that Olorogun Kenneth Gbagi, Ken Pela, Efe Ekure and Edijala Emmanuel have all indicated their willingness to attend the event slated for February 12, 2023 by 5pm at Quest TV/FM event hall at Ogor, Delta state.
“Journalists, Stakeholders, Corperate Organizations and interest groups across the state, will engage the candidates in the areas of security, economy, health, education, environment, infrastructure, social security, transportation.
